Sectional DoorsI had a lovely weekend away this week in a beautiful hotel in the country. The hotel was like something from another era and had
Sectional Doors just like the ones you see in films. As well as the
Sectional Doors, the hotel had antique furniture and beautiful ornate panelled ceilings and walls that really made you feel as though you were in another world. Once you walked through the
Sectional Doors you felt as though you had stepped back in time. It was a really lovely experience and the room itself was a delight. There was a huge bed and a lovely period claw foot bath in the middle of the room. The staff at the hotel were also like people from another era in that they could not do enough for us. Every little whim that we had was attended to immeddiately and we felt as though we could have stayed there forever. The food was wonderful and we had breakfast served to us under silver cloches in bed every morning. The luxury that we were treated to made us feel as though we were some extremely wealthy landowners from a long time ago. The whole experience made us relax more than we had in months and we have decided to go back as soon as we can.
Tiffany Ceiling LightsWhen it comes to arranging lighting in their homes, people make the same mistake over and over again. People will happily spend thousands of pounds on new furniture, wallpaper, paint, carpet, fixture and fittings but they will often give very little thought to the lighting arrangement in the room itself. A good lighting scheme can really make a room but a poorly lit room will very quickly look dull, bland and uninspiring. A single chandelier or some
Tiffany Ceiling Lights can really add character and class to a living room. As well as using
Tiffany Ceiling Lights you could also use additional lights to highlight different areas of the room such as a favourite picture, book shelf or chimney breast. Basically, the more dramatic and eye catching the lighting arrangement is, the better as this can be the centre point of the room and good lighting will help to highlight all the qualities of the living space. The best way to do this is to have a stunning central pendant for general ambient light such as a
Tiffany Ceiling Lights then have a selection of other lights such as up-lights, tall lamps or table lamps that could be used when reading or even placed on a coffee table.
